Web Project Manager
Flightpath, a dynamic internet professional services company in the Flatiron District of Manhattan, is growing and we need a Web Project Manager to join our team. We have helped companies such as AOL, American Express, Barnes and Noble, Conde Nast, Goya foods and Sara Lee among others. Responsibilities
- Plan projects, including requirements definition, scope, deliverables, schedule, and budget
- Develop and continually manage project timelines and budgets
- Ensure the delivery of on-time, on-budget projects with optimal quality
- Hold project status meetings and prepare weekly status reports and project dashboard updates
- Manage the output of designers, programmers and information architects on a per-project basis
- Serve as main client liaison on a daily basis through meetings and written correspondence
- Contribute to overall quality of process
- May be required to be on call for client emergencies during off-hours
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in web site development and online communication efforts, in an agency environment
- Exceptional organizational skills as well as focused attention to detail
- Knowledge of project management principles, methods and techniques
- Ability to accomplish multiple tasks on a number of concurrent projects
- Excellent writing and communications skills
- Ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities to inside and outside resources
- Strong familiarity with the state of the web from a business and aesthetic perspective
- Project planning experience
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision
- Solid understanding of and dedication to the interactive medium
- Proficiency with MS Office software; MS Project knowledge a plus
- Basic HTML/CSS skills
- Familiarity with web technologies a plus: ExactTarget, Lyris, Drupal, Joomla, DotNetNuke, WebTrends, Omniture, Google Analytics, IIS, etc.
- BA/BS or equivalent
